Cameron Nichols was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia, by his parents, a realtor and long-time firefighter with the Virginia Beach Fire Department. Growing up surrounded by such a dedication to his community instilled in him a drive to stay engaged in the lives of those around him. As a student at Frank W. Cox High School, Cameron was heavily involved in the school community, serving as President of the Finance Club and the Cox chapter of Future Business Leaders of America. Through his leadership role in FBLA, Cameron spearheaded volunteer opportunities for his fellow students, such as managing racer registration for the Surf-N-Santa 5 Miler with J&A Racing to promote local charity projects and nonprofit organizations, and collecting money for the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. When Cameron is not in school at Old Dominion University studying accounting, he is pursuing his pilot’s license and setting his sights on commercial piloting.
